The company develops and distributes a real-time engine that compiles the real data of a racing event (e.g., velocity or position) using satellite navigation technology, and provides these data “live” to gamers via the internet. iOpener’s real-time engine enables the gamer to play in real-time and live, when the real competition is occurring. Current applications are focusing on motorsport events.

iPharro is a spin-off from the Fraunhofer Institute for Computer Graphics (FhG/IGD) in Darmstadt, Germany. iPharros’ MediaSeeker technology is a platform for the fully automated analysis of any TV/video stream channel for the transmission of a variety of material (advertising, motion pictures, news, etc.). The MediaSeeker technology compares video clips with video streams in multiples of real time in order to detect if the particular video clip appears somehow within the video stream. The comparison approach can be used for copyright infringement detection, video archive categorization, media research for the advertising industry, and by news agencies.
